Common questions
Still unsure? Ask our chatbot in the bottom-right, or WhatsApp us for a real human reply.
How soon will you reply to my enquiry?
Within 48 hours — usually the same day. If you need an urgent reply, WhatsApp us on +263 717 945 910 and we'll come back faster.
When is the best time to visit Zambia?
May to October is the dry season — prime game viewing, higher prices, best weather. November to April is the green season — dramatic skies, birding, lower prices, but some Lower Zambezi lodges close. Victoria Falls flow is highest March-June; the rock face is most visible September-December.
Do I need a visa for Zambia?
Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival in Zambia, OR the KAZA UniVisa which covers Zambia + Zimbabwe. We help arrange these when we build your itinerary.
How much does a typical safari cost?
Every trip is tailored to your dates, group size, and choice of lodges — there's no fixed menu. Share your rough dates and group size with us and we'll send a personalised quote within 48 hours.
Can you handle cross-border trips?
Yes — we specialise in them. Chobe (Botswana), Hwange (Zimbabwe) and Namibia are all common additions. We handle the border formalities, transfers and lodge bookings end-to-end.
Are walking safaris safe?
Yes. Every walking safari is led by a licensed guide AND an armed park ranger — two experts, not one. Group size is kept small (6-8 max). Children are welcomed above the lodge's minimum age (typically 10-12).
What should I pack?
Neutral-colour clothes (khaki, brown, olive), layers (mornings are cold in dry season), closed shoes, a sun hat, binoculars, a camera, insect repellent and sun cream. Formal clothes aren't needed — safari lodges are relaxed.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes — we accept bank transfer and major credit cards. USD is preferred for international clients. A deposit of around 30% confirms your booking; balance is due 30-60 days before travel depending on season.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Each lodge has its own cancellation policy, which we share upfront. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering safari activities and medical evacuation — happy to recommend providers.
Can you accommodate children, honeymoons, or accessibility needs?
Absolutely. Several lodges are family-friendly (minimum ages vary). Honeymoon packages include private dinners and room upgrades. For wheelchair users or guests with mobility needs, we can arrange adapted vehicles and lodges with notice.
